In these cities, I will be hosting dance workshops at various ballroom studios and also be giving corporate wellness seminars at Fortune 500 corporations.

To learn more about each, I’d advise to check out my videos on both.

I have typically taken resumes & applications like any other business for years and have seen literally thousands of applicants. I personally don’t like this method of hiring and it’s hard to keep track of everyone. What ends up happening, I only hire from the current 3 months of people who have inquired even though there may have been better candidates in the past.

To offset this problem, we are implementing a new program with our companies. Anyone interested in working with HardMagic, TheSBON, or MOVFitness will now be required to make a profile on MOVFitness.com.

Once they’ve made a profile, we have added a new section to registration that says “What is your interest in signing up?”

Answers to this question are as follows:

•Weight Loss
•Run Races
•Bootcamp
•Meet People for Fitness
•Ballroom Dancing
•Work for MOVFitness
•Work for HardMagic
•Get Published
•Get Interviewed as a Model

In addition to this, we will have a place on their profile where they may upload their resumes. Instead of writing a cover letter, applicants should get involved with our company by reading our books and such. Those with the most badges will have a much better chance at becoming interns with us and eventually employees.

Staff & Human Resources will have exclusive access to see resumes of those who upload them.

In the future, we’ll open this up to other fitness companies to use our website to find quality personal trainers, models, etc as a paid service.

This is enough info on it for now!

Believe it or not, out of all the things I have going on in my life, investing is actually where my bread and butter comes from. I believe to be successful in life, you must have a number of trickles of income. In the past year, I’ve taken on clients as a stock broker, per se.

Below, I’ve listed the transactions of a new client of mine to show how easy it is to make money in the market and also great for our economy if you invest with someone you believe in. I invest only in companies who I feel have a strong record, a great vision, and potential for growth. With my innovative investing strategies, I have earned an investing record in the past 12 years of over 30% interest. Try getting that with a CD or other investment!

In the chart, you can see how the client gave a sample to see how the stock market worked. I bought a mere $750 worth of stock in NVDA – Nvidia Corporation for ~$7.23 per share. Ten days later on Oct 31st I was able to sell for $8.47 per share. That’s a 15% gain in a week and a half. Keep in mind that I made 15% gain on my own stocks during the greatest Stock Market crash in two decades and during one of the top 3 crashes in stock market history. On October 24, many of the world’s stock exchanges experienced the worst declines in their history, with drops of around 10% in most indices. – According to Wikipedia

After the client realized I knew investments well, they decided to invest even more money. You can see $7600 being traded a week later despite all the blow up in the media about another great depression starting. Overall, in three months time, I made this client a 40% return on their investment. The client invested about $10,000 and was returned over $4,000. Not too shabby for some alternative energy stocks, eh?

I teach classes and take on clients who are interested in investing. Get in touch if you’d like a consultation.

The Santa Barbara Online News is one of my newest creations.

At The SBON, we believe in one thing: NOBS. That’s right. We are tired of big business running our media. Here, you will find unbiased reviews and news on what is current in the Santa Barbara area on areas such as health and fitness, business, entertainment, and lifestyles, and more.

We are online and have no central location. Our employees work from home, are eco-friendly, and are passionate about spreading the great messages you see here. We are your open-minded source for media in the Santa Barbara area.

If you are tired of opening the newspaper and seeing crime, obituaries, countless weddings, and the hatred we spew overseas which the masses call “war”, then log in to TheSBON. We believe a newspaper should have interesting articles that educate and entertain the reader. You will find entire books posted for your entertainment, articles to help make your house run off the grid, and investment advice from our experts.

Also, we’re very green in all of our practices. Our articles are written on laptops ran by solar power and also have low voltages. We recharge our cameras using solar power as well. We are the wave of the future for digital media. I’m really excited to offer this type of service to the community.

With MOVFitness about 18 months old, I have to say I’m impressed with where we’re going. I now have a strong internship program built with UCSB and am recruiting some great students. I hope to move forward with this program in the future and actually mold how they are teaching their students. In time, it would be beneficial if they could train the students in what trainers need to know instead of just where all the bones are in the body & how to test for body fat.

It’s a learning process for both parties & I’m happy to report that the summer of 2008 looks very promising. I will be making new video tutorials to better assist the interns in their learning. I already have quite a few on a backdoor training page. It is amazing how much I have molded and shaped these students lives in just 3 months. Also, seeing so many clients have the same problem over and over really opens their eyes to how easy it is to get in shape when you fix your foundation.

I’m looking into other schools and trying to get an internship started at UCLA as well. Once this is established, our LA Market should do better. I hope to recruit a few for the 2008-9 schoolyear and take care of all the clients in Santa Monica that keep asking for trainers (which we currently don’t have).
